A little about me.

I've always had a passion for computers. It started in middle school with HTML and CSS, back when customizing your MySpace was a thing. Computers weren't a hobby. They were just how my brain worked.

I eventually went back to school for computer science in 2021. That's when things really clicked. I had the privilege of learning from Shane Carroll May at NWACC, and his teaching style made me want to push through every wall I hit, including a solid stretch of imposter syndrome. I graduated in May 2023 with my A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems, having worked through Python, Java, Swift, JavaScript, SQL, and more along the way.

Long before AI became something everyone was talking about, I was already automating the stuff nobody wanted to do manually. Google Apps Script, Python, whatever the job called for. If a process was repetitive, I was looking for a way to eliminate it. That was just how I operated.

Then ChatGPT dropped right before graduation and I was immediately captivated. I went all in and haven't looked up since. In July 2024 I landed at Tyson Foods on the Emerging Tech & AI team, and getting to see AI working at that scale, for 40,000+ people, made everything feel real. I find genuine joy in helping people actually use these tools, not just have access to them.

I'm finishing my B.S. in Software Development at Bellevue University in May 2026. Work doesn't feel like work when you get to do what you love. I genuinely love this.

What I work with.

AI & Agents Copilot Studio, LLM applications, agent orchestration, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP server design
Automation Power Automate, n8n, Python scripting, multi-model workflows
Development Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Swift, SQL, React, Next.js, Django, REST APIs
Platforms Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Ollama, Workday, BigQuery

Background.

I served in the Navy Reserve from 2010 to 2015. After that, life moved around a bit before I found my way back to computers. When I finally did, it stuck for good.

I help people use AI. Not just implement it. Actually use it, in a way that makes their day easier. That's what I care about.

I'm finishing my B.S. in Software Development at Bellevue University in May 2026. Based in Lowell, AR.

Let's connect.

I'm open to full-time AI engineering roles. If you're building something interesting, I want to hear about it.
